Set of 4 AWON Woven Placemats

Yinka Ilori’s set of four AWON woven placemats features a more muted artwork celebrating nature’s treasures. In the language of Yoruba, the word “awon” translates to “shell”. These generously sized woven placemats comprise a playful rainbow of vibrant stripes and semicircles interpreting the many different patinas of a shell. 

Crafted in Portugal, the placemats have been tightly-woven from pure cotton, adorned with an intricate, geometric jacquard motif. Designed for longevity, these placemats are both durable and hard-wearing.
