“Born out of my background in graffiti, my current work focuses on the creation and interpretation of a writing system in English using the principles and philosophy of Chinese calligraphy. The resulting writing ranges from emphasizing the structure of the text, to embodying a significant word, to capturing the energetic feel of what I’m writing.”
