Bacchus (c. 1596) is an oil painting by Michelangelo da Caravaggio commissioned by Cardinal Del Monte. The painting shows a youthful Bacchus reclining classically with grapes and vine leaves in his hair. As he does so, he pulls at the cord of his loosely draped cape.
