Rosa Montezuma Metal Bookmark

This bookmark is inspired by an illustration in Pierre-Joseph Redouté's Roses. The hand-colored stipple engravings are his most celebrated images, issued under the patronage of Empress Josephine, wife of Napoleon. Each flower is a classical “portrait," allowing the viewer to focus on the beauty and delicate complexity of the plants themselves.
