The Elephants is a 1948 painting by Spanish surrealist artist Salvador Dalí. The elephant is a recurring theme in Dalí's work. The Elephants in this work differs from the other paintings in that the animals are the focus of the work, with a sparse, graded background and the lack of other content in which most of Dalí's paintings contain much detail.
